.: SHIPBUILDING Facilities

For shipbuilding activities, there are 2 main yard for our activities:-

  • Pulau Kambing
  • Pulau Duyong

Pulau Duyung yard is allocated for construction of steel vessel above 1000 tones displacement, such as Tug Boat, Anchor Handling Tug, Support Supply Vessel, Survey Vessel, Coastal product tanker and Bunker Barge. The 8.3 acres of land at Pulau Duyong is concentrated on steel vessel like offshore vessel especially for oil & gas support industry market.

 

The Pulau Kambing yard builds steel, aluminium and wooden boat. We offer a wide range of services for repair and maintenance at Pulau Kambing yard. Its facilities can compliment boats and crafts up to 40 meters in length of about 300 tones displacement.

.: ENGINEERING Workshop

New Manufacturing Bay of MSET Engineering

In line with our commitment and part of our expansion plan to ensure successful implementation of the VDP, MSETec is currently undertaking construction of a new manufacturing bay measuring 90 meters in length and 24 meters wide which will triple the existing production capacity up to 300 – 500 ton / month. Presently, MSET Engineering has one manufacturing bay with capacity of 100 – 150 ton / month of pressure vessel fabrication.

 

MSETec Workshop is strategically located at Kerteh Industrial Estate, adjacent to Petronas Gas and Crude Oil Terminal and Refinery. About 30 minutes drive from Kemaman Supply Base (KSB), its strategic location is thus ideal for clients to venture and service the oil and gas industry corridor of the East Coast Peninsular of Malaysia.

 

MSETec owns a Fabrication Yard:

Kerteh Industrial Area

  • Size 36 x 180 sq mtr
  • Capacity of 200 tonnes/month

MSETec is currently equipped with modern workshop facilities. The advanced facilities have the ability of:

  • Producing at least 1,200 tonnes per year of steel structures
  • Process equipment and piping works
  • Handling new project and maintenance activities for various industrial plants
  • Cutting plates using its fixed cutting machines

The workshop is fully equipped with:

  • Welding Sets
  • Two 5 tonnes and one 10 tonnes Overhead Cranes
  • Bending and Rolling Machines
  • New Machineries For Fabrication Works
  • Other updated equipment include:
    •  Pneumatic Tube Expansion
    •  Tube Sheet Welding System
    •  Automatic Welding Machines
    •  Welding Recitifier (400 amp)
    •  Lincoln Mig Welding System
