Asean Oil & Gas Expo (AGEX) 2011![]() MSETec proved its mettle to focus on its journey of identity to ultimately achieve its aspiration when successfully participated in the Borneo Largest Oil & Gas Exhibition, ”Asean Oil & Gas Expo (AGEX) 2011” that held in Financial Park, Labuan from 2nd – 4th November 2011. Officiating the expo, Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said the staging of the expo was a timely opportunity and a step in the right direction for Labuan to showcase and highlight its potential as a premier oil and gas hub in the region. Therefore, effort being taken to achieve the objective to turn Labuan into an oil and gas hub includes the proposed RM3 billion integrated petroleum project in Pulau Daat, an initiatives under the government's Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). Raja Nong Chik said the proposed Labuan oil and gas hub will complement the Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal (SOGT) being developed by PETRONAS in Kimanis.
This participation contributed the value add to MSETec’s economic existence and as one of the basis in fulfilling its corporate strategies to become a respectable one stop center of engineering services provider . VDP Excellence Award 2010/11![]() MSETec is the first recipient of VDP Excellence Award by PETRONAS in view of its sterling performance for 5 consecutive years in the fabrication of Unfired Pressure Vessels (UPVs). This award was given on 23rd December 2010 at Hotel Nikko, KL in conjunction with VDP Performance Feedback Session 2010/11. ![]() The award is to encourage all 29 vendors under the PETRONAS VDP program to continuously strive to produce and deliver products by meeting both contractual schedule and stringent quality requirements as per given specifications. 16.55METER ALUMINIUM HULL CREW BOAT FOR DAMEN SHIPYARDS GROUP, NETHERLANDS
![]() MSET Shipbuilding Corporation Sdn Bhd (MSETsc) was successfully completed and delivered 6 units of 16.55meter Aluminium Hull Crew Boat owned by Damen Shipyards Group which located in Netherland. The delivery of these boats was held in two phases, first phase was held on 29th June 2010 consist of 4 units’ boats and 2 units on 7 June 2010 at MSET Pulau Kambing, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. These boats were the second order of last 4 units which same size in 2006. The 6 units of 16.55meter Hull Fast Crew Supplier 1605 was successfully delivered by load loader the hull will be constructed in Damen Shipyards Singapore Pte Ltd accordingly. The function of these boats was intended for the surveillance services with a speed of 28 knots and 29 passengers. |
