KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- Three subsidiaries of Scomi Marine Bhd have Friday entered into bareboat charter agreements and time charter agreements with Rock-Equipment S.A.

The three companies are PT Batuah Abadi Lines, PT Rig Tenders Indonesia TBK and Goldship Private Ltd.

In a statement today, Scomi Marine said in total the subsidiaries entered into four Bareboat Charters (all by PT Batuah) and four Time Charters (two by PT Rig and two by Goldship).

Rock-Equipment is a company incorporated in Luxemburg with paid up share capital of 1,000,000 Euro.

It is involved in the business of investing in all types of equipment for the purpose of leasing the equipment to companies for civil engineering or quarry works.

Scomi Marine said under the Bareboat Charters, PT Batuah will charter four vessels to Rock-Equipment on bareboat basis for a minimum period of 30 months each with an option to extend for a period of six to 12 months at the charter fee rate of US$900 per day per vessel.

Under the Time Charters, PT Rig and Goldship will charter two vessels each to Rock-Equipment on time charter basis for a minimum period of 30 months each with an option to extend for a period of six to 12 months, it said.

The charter fee for the vessels to be chartered by PT Rig is US$1,400 per day per vessel, whereas the charter fee for the vessels to be chartered by Goldship is US$2,900 per day.
